Danica Patrick, the first woman to win an IndyCar race, will continue racing on both the NASCAR and IndyCar circuits. She is reportedly close to signing a deal to drive for JR Motorsports in 2012. In other Danica news, Forbes reported that she is the third highest paid female athlete, earning $12 million last year. Topping the list is tennis star Maria Sharapova with $25 million. Caroline Wozniacki came in second on the list, just edging Danica at $12.5 million.
